The main US-301 runs directly past Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), while Highway 41 (the North Tamiami Trail) also provides good access to nearby hotels and both downtown Sarasota and Bradenton.
Located on the southern side of Sarasota Airport is the University of South Florida, next to the University Parkway. To the north you will find Tallevast Road, which leads to 301 Boulevard East and 77th Avenue East, with the Sara Bay Country Club being located nearby.

- Take the US-301 south from Bradenton
- Turn right onto University Parkway and right again onto Airport circle for the airport
Directions to Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) from the south of Sarasota:
- Head north along the US-301 from the south and Sarasota
- Turn left onto Desoto Road and follow signs for the airport
- Turn right onto Airport Circle for the airport
Directions to Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) from the east of Sarasota:
- Highway 70 runs in from the east
- Turn left for Sarasota at the US-301 T-junction
- Turn right onto University Parkway and right again onto Airport Circle for the airport
Directions to Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) from the west of Sarasota:
- Highway 41 and University Parkway come in from the west
- Follow signs for the airport on either of these routes
Highway 41 offers the most direct route to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport from Sarasota and Bradenton, but it can become very congested in the mornings and the evenings around rush hour times. The US-301 freeway (North Washington Boulevard) is also busy during these times, but it has fewer intersections and provides faster access.
